About Me
Since I was young, I’ve had a passion for food. Growing up, I loved being in the kitchen with my mom, helping prepare meals for our family. I began to create my own recipes, experimenting with flavors and cuisines with the hope of one day owning my own restaurant
I attended UNLV and worked at different restaurants during summers. After graduating with a degree in Hospitality Management, I began my professional journey as a chef and kitchen supervisor. Working with chefs from all different backgrounds, I learned as many techniques as I could. I studied how flavor profiles are created and used. These experiences are reflected in my recipes.
This blog is my journal as I continuously explore the world of food. Although I have changed careers, my passion for food remains strong. Now I cook and develop recipes for pleasure - mine and, hopefully, yours! I include tips and information in my recipes to help you succeed in making each dish.
